It was started in 2018, when Isfahan’s children and teens competed at national level. Two years later, Isfahan Children and Teenagers’ Painting Competition improved to international level and attracted the attention of many children across different countries. It aimed to evaluate this generation views of city concept and strengthen their sense of belonging to their home cities as well as their urban identity. Now, its 4th edition has opened for children 4-18 years old with the theme “Stories of My City”.

Applicant Requirements
– Each artwork must be made by an individual, not by a group.
Note: Avoid visual Clichés and repetition.
– At least A3- sized white paper must be for artworks.
Note: It is not allowed to use frame and passé partout for the work.
– Artworks must be flat ones that can be scanned.
– Artworks must not infringe on the rights of a third party, such as copyright
(including that for animated characters), trademarks, and the right of
publicity.
– One applicant can submit one artwork only.

The closing ceremony and introducing the winners would be in April, 2025. The winners will receive the certificate as well as special gift and their artworks exhibit in our virtual gallery available on www.iicpf.com.

Tema del Concurso: “Las historias de mi ciudad”
Cada uno de nosotros vive en una ciudad que cuenta con una rica cultura y un patrimonio singular, cada una con sus propias historias. Estas narrativas pueden abarcar relatos orales, tradiciones antiguas, historias populares o relatos sobre monumentos históricos, entre otros, que contribuyen a la identificación de la ciudad con la que se vive. Relatos que reflejen la historia, la cultura, la mitología y las transformaciones sociales de su ciudad, y que susciten en los participantes sentimientos de orgullo y pertenencia. En esta ocasión, bajo el tema “Las historias de mi ciudad”, solicitamos que expresen sus relatos a través de la pintura.

Every one lives in a city
where there is a culture and history and every city has its own unique stories
including oral ones, folktales, and the stories behind monuments. In fact, our
cities and their culture, history, mythology and social developments are known
by such stories and we are proud of them. So, let us know the stories of your
city through your paintings.

– Attached a photo ID of the child.
– Submit the paintings on www.iicpf.com
Each applicant should securely attach the completed application form to the back of their artwork, and submit it to the Secretariat. (All fields marked with an asterisk * are mandatory)

The paintings will be evaluated on:
- Whether they are drawn by the children and teens or anyone’s help
- Their relevance to the theme of competition (Stories of My City)
- Using imagination and creativity in expressing the topic
- Innovation in choosing the angle of view, composition and technique
Judging is done in four age categories as follows:
4-6/ 7-9 / 10-13/ 14- 18 years old
